Thomas S. Hays

Dr. Thomas Hays retired in 2004 as Supervisor for Gifted Programs for Lincoln Public Schools in Lincoln, Nebraska. He holds degrees from Doane College, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and the University of Connecticut. He served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia, and a Teacher Corps Intern on The Winnebago Indian Reservation. He has taught in public schools in Guam, Arizona, Nebraska, and Iowa. He also taught at the University of Connecticut, and the University of Hawaii. Tom coauthored The Multiple Menu Model: A Practical Guide for Developing Differentiated Curriculum and authored Anti-intellectualism and the Education of High Ability Learners.
