Clark Porter has worked as a school psychologist, college instructor, farm hand, psychologist in a clinic for adolescents, painter, nonprofit administrator, counselor, antique refinisher, grant writer, surveyor's assistant, and teacher of gifted students. He has received local and regional awards for his teaching. Clark has a bachelor's degree in religion, an Ed.S. in school psychology, and a Ph.D. in social foundations of education. Clark is a lifetime resident of Iowa, where he lives with his wife (a teacher) and two sons. He maintains an active interest in farming, horses, and the outdoors.
