Laurie Stolmack Eaton

Laurie Stolmack Eaton has been a teacher for more than 25 years and has thoroughly enjoyed all of her experiences, both in the classroom and as a gifted and talented specialist. She has both a master's degree and an endorsement in gifted and talented education. She has taught in both elementary and middle school and in recent years has served as a gifted and talented specialist and as a literacy teacher.

She currently splits her time working as a specialist in the Denver Public Schools, Gifted and Talented Department and working as a gifted and talented resource teacher at a K–12 creative arts academy in the district. She works with gifted representatives, teachers, and administrators throughout the district to find ways to identify and meet the needs of gifted students, to provide professional development on how to differentiate lessons, and to research, develop, and provide resources that tie in to the district curriculum.
