Howard Schindler

Howard Schindler received his bachelor’s degree in school and public health from the State University of New York at Cortland in 1975 and his master’s degree in education from Johns Hopkins University in 1988. Howard currently teaches forensics, human anatomy and physiology, and biology at St. Paul’s School in Baltimore, MD. In addition, Howard is an adjunct professor at Stevenson University where he teaches forensics.

Having grown up watching Jack Klugman as Quincy, ME on TV, the seeds for teaching forensics were planted long ago. Growing out of activities in his anatomy class and recognizing that his students were fascinated with solving mysteries, Howard developed his forensics class at St. Paul’s in 1994. Howard has shared his expertise as a frequent presenter at the National Science Teachers Association and the National Association of Biology Teachers regional and national conferences.

Howard lives in outside of Baltimore in Brooklandville, MD, with his wife Liz and their dog Jake.
