Colin Seale

Colin Seale

Colin Seale is an educator, attorney, and critical thinking expert. He was also that kid who talked too much, “laughed too hard,” and was an all-around smart aleck who eventually suffered from #idontcaresyndrome in his high school years. He founded thinkLaw, an award-winning organization, to help educators leverage inquiry-based instructional strategies that can close the critical thinking gap and ensure they teach and reach all students. Struggles in Colin’s early life gave birth to his passion for educational equity. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and tracked early into gifted and talented programs, he was afforded opportunities his neighborhood peers were not. Today, Colin draws on his professional training—including his time as a teacher and attorney—to support his work with thinkLaw, inspire topics for keynote speeches, and evangelize about critical thinking and equity as a contributor to Forbes, Education Post, and The 74. When he’s not serving as the world’s most fervent critical thinking advocate, Colin lives in Glendale, AZ, where he proudly serves as the world’s greatest entertainer to his two young children and a loving husband to his wife, Carrie.
