Michael S. Hoey

Michael S. Hoey graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater in 1992, with a bachelor’s degree in education, a major in history, and a minor in political science. He has been teaching social studies in Wisconsin high schools for 15 years, including world and U.S. history at his current position at Lake Geneva Badger High School in Lake Geneva, WI.

He has experience teaching in private and public high schools, and has taught in small and large schools. The common denominator always has been providing interesting material or methods to engage his students. Mock trials always have been part of his lesson plans because they engage the students and teach them to use skills they will need later in life.
