Jennifer Foreman

Jen Foreman teaches in Allegheny College’s Psychology Department and Education Program. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2013 and her M.S. in Instructional Leadership from Robert Morris University in 2008. Previously, Jen was a research associate for the National Research Center on the Gifted and Talented and has completed program evaluations as an independent consultant. She taught English in Simferopol, Crimea and has also been a homeschooling parent. Her research interests include the role of teacher nominations in identification for gifted programming, enrichment-based curriculum interventions, character development and service learning, and the neurodiversity movement.
