Del Siegle, Ph.D.

Del Siegle is Head of the Department of Educational Psychology in the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut. He also directs the Three Summers Master's Degree program at the University of Connecticut. Prior to earning his Ph.D., Del worked as a gifted and talented coordinator in Montana. He is a past president of the National Association for Gifted Children and served on the board of directors of The Association for the Gifted. He is a past journal editor and currently authors a technology column for Gifted Child Today. He is also coauthor with Gary Davis and Sylvia Rimm of the popular textbook, Education of the Gifted and Talented. Del's research interest is motivation of gifted students.
