Jason McIntosh

Jason S. McIntosh, Ph.D., received his doctorate in gifted, talented, and creative studies at Purdue University with research interests in program evaluation and curriculum development for gifted learners. Prior to his doctoral studies he served as a gifted pull-out teacher, program coordinator, and regular classroom teacher for a combined total of 15 years. He is Nationally Board Certified in the area of “Middle Childhood Generalist” and has received two master’s degrees in elementary education and the art of teaching. Jason serves on the executive committee for the Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented (AAGT) and the Local Arrangements Committee for the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC), and has worked with the Diné, Lakota, and Ojibwe tribes for the past 3 years to identify and serve high-potential Native students through a grant given to Dr. Gentry and the Gifted Education Resource Institute.
