This book came into my life right when I needed it! I'm in the middle of revisions and so that section of the book really helped me. Victoria Hanley has a way of encouraging you while giving you the realities of the business so that you can make the best choices for your writing and career. Enjoyed the author interviews!

I’d say that any writer in their late teens to elder years would enjoy this book. The author, Victoria Hanley has a true gift with making what can sometimes be a mundane topic intriguing and interesting to read.

It’s incredibly relatable and easy to comprehend, which is what makes it a valuable resouce to have. I would definitely recommend a copy of this book to be on anyone’s shelf, who is interested in writing and making a living while doing it.

Overall, I felt that Hanley included everything you may need to know for writing, publishing, and marketing a young adult book. I think authors should keep Wild Ink close to their writing space for quick reference. I highly recommend this handy 289 page tool.

The best part of this book is the plethora of great details and examples used. Hanley has a knack for answering the reader’s questions before they’ve even been asked. If you owned only one book about writing, it should be this book.
