Understanding Twice-Exceptional Learners
This is the book educators of the gifted have been waiting for! It addresses the critical questions teachers, parents and counselors have about twice exceptional learners. The editors have brought together authors who can not only share the research on each exceptionality but also provide practical interventions and educational strategies.
Clarifying definitions and descriptors are provided as well as vignettes to cause the reader to critically reflect on “how this looks” in the real classroom. The book is rich in tables and figures for quick reference as well for organizing critical content. Comprehensive references and resources guide the reader to more in-depth study. As both an educator of the gifted and a university professor, I believe that this much sought after information will be celebrated by teachers and will make a difference for twice exceptional learners.

This work covers a lot of information and provides a lot of ways for educators to deal with each problem. Once again Prufrock Press has produced another great work for educators.
