Good, but some poor choices
The book was very good, but it had a poor selection of academic competitions. The Knowledge Master Open and National Academic Championship are poorly run trivia competitions with terrible questions, often with factual errors. These are not real national tournaments, as the top teams no longer attend. The NAQT High School National Championship Tournament and PACE National Scholastic Championship are better, highly-regarded competitions that can field a hundred teams or more (96 at NSC, 256 at HSNCT) with a long waitlist. Regional competitions affiliated with these two national tournaments are also very good.
