Prufrock Wins 2012 Legacy Book Award in Scholar Category

Congratulations are in order for Tracy L. Cross and Jennifer Riedl Cross, editors of Handbook for Counselors Serving Students With Gifts and Talents: Development, Relationships, School Issues, and Counseling Needs/Interventions. The book was recently named the 2012 Legacy Book Award winner in the Scholar category.

Given by the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented each year, the Legacy Book Awards "honor outstanding books published in the United States that have long-term potential for contributing to the understanding, well-being, education, and success of gifted and talented students." Handbook for Counselors Serving Students With Gifts and Talents joins 13 other Prufrock Press titles that have been awarded the honor since 2005. The book will be recognized at the annual TAGT conference in Dallas, TX, November 28-30.
