Designed to be used as curriculum for grades 3–4, “The Case of the Missing Bicycle” contains everything needed to conduct a student mystery inquiry, a 2 and one half to three hour joint project for a classroom. Inquiry based learning is an important strategy to teach critical thinking skills as well as cooperative problem-solving skills. Kids ages 8–10 will enjoy analyzing the clues to solve the mystery, completing each activity in sequence, and arriving at their well founded conclusions. “The Case of the Missing Bicycle” also makes learning the scientific method fun for kids and adults.
