Critical Information for more than parents
Information about healing and helping children thrive applies to more than parents -- every educator should read this book. I learned just enough information to understand the impact of trauma. The strategies here can be applied to every adult who has the opportunity to support a fellow human. I used this book to prepare for training other caregivers and educators for school re-openings knowing that our children will need more. The ideas here are universal and can apply equally to my neighbors, students, coworkers, parents, and siblings. Ms. Fonseca presents this information by sharing her personal and professional stories that keep the reader engaged. It won't take long for educators to understand how they can impact a child based on Ms. Fonseca's approach. I appreciated the format, activities, and resources in this book. Well worth the read.
