Must-read guide full of wonderful information
“College Success for Students with Physical Disabilities” provides parents and students with physical disabilities a much-needed guide to help students transition from high school to college.  This easy-to-read handbook provides information on important legal rights, responsibilities of the college and student, helpful points to consider, a wealth of resources, and the perspective of current students in the form of interviews.  Students are also given information on the general process of how to request accommodations in college and what those accommodations may or may not look like.  In addition to the resources at the end of each chapter, the appendix includes a listing of full-service colleges and colleges that provide past the minimum requirements put forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act.
