Dr. Kristen R. Stephens is an assistant professor of the practice in the Program in Education (http://educationprogram.duke.edu) at Duke University. She has coauthored and coedited numerous books on issues pertinent to gifted education. Dr. Stephens serves as governance secretary for the National Association for Gifted Children and is currently president of the North Carolina Association for Gifted and Talented.
