This short (145 pages), clearly written, and inspiring book is one that would be a useful tool for any biology teacher, whether a novice first–year teacher or a veteran educator. Using the included menu examples as a starting point, a creative teacher could construct a variety of menus for other course topics and give the students the important element of choice. The book is designed for use in grades 9–12, but could easily be adapted for middle school or college classes. College level teaching methods courses would also find this to be a valuable instructional resource.
