Request a Review/Desk Copy

Prufrock Press is happy to provide review copies of its books to bloggers, writers, book reviewers, and publication editors. We also provide desk copies of textbooks and professional development titles to professors and lecturers active in the fields of gifted education and special education.

Review Copy Request

To request a review copy, please e-mail Lacy Compton at the following information:

• title requested/ISBN;
• number of copies needed;
• your affiliation with a blog (include link) or publication OR links to reviews you've posted online at book review sites;
• your name, e-mail address, and mailing address; and
• whether you prefer eBook/PDF versions or hard copies.

We request that all reviewers submit a copy or link to their published review to Lacy Compton at

To request a desk copy, please e-mail Lacy Compton at the following information:

• title requested/ISBN;
• your affiliation with a university or educational institution;
• the names of the courses in which this book might be used; and
• your name, e-mail address, and mailing address.

Please note that we cannot send review/desk copies to school districts.
